About the ice cream

Served at Νήριτο: Kayak premium ice cream.

Kayak is one of Greece's most trusted ice cream brands. They've been making premium ice cream in Athens for decades, with real ingredients and the kind of texture you can only get from doing it properly.

We've been their only partner on Ithaca. Our freezer carries 36-40 flavors at any time, rotating through fruit sorbets, chocolate varieties, nuts and honey, seasonal specials, and a dedicated selection for vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free eaters.

Kayak is also the coffee supplier at Νήριτο (alongside illy and Fafas — vaflaki).

Ordering

Per scoop. Cone, cup, or sundae.

Our ice cream is priced per scoop. Mix as many flavors as you like. We serve it in a cone, in a paper cup for the waterfront walk, or in a proper glass with long spoons if you’re sitting down.

Want it with a waffle? Ask us. Want it with fruit or whipped cream or Nutella on top? Ask us. Want three scoops arranged like a proper sundae? That’s called "tell us which flavors" and we take it from there.

Inside or on the plateia

Spacious on the waterfront.

Almost all our seating is outside, on the plateia, looking at the boats. It’s the best place in Vathy to eat an ice cream slowly, especially in the hour before sunset when the light turns the water gold.

Or grab a cone and walk. The waterfront runs both directions from our spot — north toward Lazareto islet, south toward the quieter end of the bay. Both are a nice twenty minutes at ice-cream pace.

How much is a scoop?

Priced per scoop. The current price is on the sign at the counter — we update it seasonally.

Who supplies your ice cream?

Kayak — one of Greece's leading premium ice cream brands, based in Athens. We've been their only partner on Ithaca.

Can I take it away?

Of course. Cone, paper cup, or covered pint (if you want to take it back to the boat or apartment). Or sit at one of our tables on the plateia.

Do you do sundaes?

Yes — ask us. We don't have a fixed sundae menu; we build them to order.

When are you open?

Every day from April through October, 08:00 to 02:00. Closed for the winter.
