Morning
Greek coffee at €2.00. Espresso and cappuccino done right. Fresh juices you build yourself. Yogurt with fruit, honey, or sour cherry.

Full eggs and omelettes. Sweet and savoury crepes. Waffles. The dependable, slow, good-coffee morning you want on holiday.

Greek salads — including the "Νήριτο" house salad with chicken and balsamic. Pizzas from the oven. Tzatziki, feta, saganaki.

Mojitos, spritzes, negronis, daiquiris. Greek wines by the glass. Ouzo, Metaxa, mastiha. Ice cream and waffles if the night is still early.
The shop
On the plateia since 1988.
Νήριτο has stood on the Vathy waterfront for decades. The family has owned it the whole time. The team behind the bar knows the menu cold and has seen every kind of customer — the fishermen at sunrise, the yacht crews at lunch, the families with kids stopping for ice cream, the couples who come back for cocktails after dark.
The shop takes its name from Mount Neriton, Ithaca's highest peak — the one Homer called out by name, the one sailors see first when they're coming home.
We don't hurry anyone. The kitchen stays open between meals. If you want eggs at three in the afternoon, you can have eggs. If you want a scoop of ice cream at ten in the morning, you can have that too.
